TNT Announces return date for ‘Falling Skies’

Set your DVRs (if you can) for June 17 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) – that’s the date and time the TNT network has set for the return of Falling Skies, the surprise No. 1 summer drama of 2011.

The first for 10 new weekly episodes will premiere every Sunday in that time slot for 10 weeks running – with a possible break over the Independence Day holiday weekend.

Starring Noah Wyle as  an unlikely resistance leader as the second season picks up with the ragtag survivors continuing their extraordinary life of survival in the wake of a catastrophic alien invasion. Executive produced Steven Spielberg, it also stars Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Maxim Knight and Connor Jessup.
