Netflix sniffing around Terra Nova
Commander Nathaniel Taylor and Jim Shannon face a slasher on Terra Nova.
Although the Fox network has killed it off, the recently cancelled Terra Nova may live again as Netflix has eyes on the series, according to a report from Deadline.
The show, which has consistently been at the to of DVR users’ must-record list was averaging about 4 million viewers a week – a number not high enough for Fox to renew the expensive CGI dinosaur drama.
But according to sources, Netflix, which already is reviving another cancelled Fox series, Arrested Development, has the cash on hand to fund a second season of Terra Nova, although the odds of a deal going through are considered low.
