1 million and counting as ‘Hunger Games’ pre-sales break records

Between Friday and Sunday, The Hunger Games pre-sold 1 million tickets, according to a report on Deadline.com; not bad for a movie that doesn’t open until March 23.

The report says that judging only from Fandango and Movietickets.com sales, more than 1 million Hunger Games tickets were sold on those two sites, with 83,000 sold on Fandango Sunday.

  1. And I am 100% sure my niece, Britney Marie, is responsible for 90% of sale in the Greater Fort Wayne Area.

    • WOW! 1 million?!

    • more than 1 million – 1 million *only* on Fandango and Movietickets.com

It doesn't include pre-sales directly from theaters or other sources.

    • I'm going on Friday at 10:30 am – for a 13 year-old's bday party (but that is just an excuse…)
