Sci-fi hunks dominate Hot 100 sexiest men list

9dd7e092The Viacom-owned website, AfterElton.com,  released a reader poll of its picks for the sexiest male celebrities of 2007. Most of the men listed either are primarily known from their science fiction  and fantasy roles or have ties to notable science fiction and fantasy roles.

For example, the No. 1 pick as hottest man is Jake Gyllenhaal, who was virtually unknown until his role int the trippy time-travel/alternate universe fantasy, Donnie Darko and three years later in The Day After Tomorrow. The full list follows (with their genre ties, if any, in parentheses):
