‘Heroes,’ ‘Lost’ top genre nominees for 2007 Golden Globes

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA)released Thursday its nominees for the 2007 Golden Globe Awards. Each year HFPA member choose what it thinks are the best in TV and Film distributed or aired in the U.S.

In an almost-shutout of Science Fiction and Fantasy, NBC’s Heroes tied with ABC’s Lost in getting the most nominations – two – of any genre fiction work. Both were nominated for best TV drama. Evangeline Lilly from Lost picked up a Best Actress nod while Heroes’ Masi Oka (plays the character “Hiro”) was nominated for best supporting actor.
